RUGER P90DC (left): Horsehide. belt loop w/ trailing full slot for 1 5/8 " belt; hand-stitched; border tooled topband with welt accent tooling; Tension adj. screw; creased & dyed edges; muzzle plug with weep hole; moulded sight track.

Note: Trailing full slot shown is cut through both layers of leather. This helps pull larger gun butts into the body. In addition, the holster can be worn between the belt and pants with a trailing full slot.

Note: My Askins style holsters feature topbands to reinforce the holster mouth allowing one-hand blind reholstering. This also helps to prevent holster crush when shooting in the roll-over prone position.

Muzzle plugs (above) are precisely sized to the holsters muzzle opening and glued and sewn into place. They serve to protect the crown of the muzzle from debris and damage and greatly reinforce the holster to prevent crush. The weepholes (shown above) are small holes punched into the muzzle plug to allow any water to drain.
